Al Arabiya news network, citing Lebanese security officials, has reported the arrest of a Hezbollah member, identified as Mahmoud Ayoub, on charges of collaborating with the intelligence services of the Zionist regime of Israel.

According to the report, Ayoub was arrested in the town of Harouf, situated in the Nabatieh region of southern Lebanon.

Ayoub also serves as the financial director of Ragheb Harb Hospital. His arrest has sparked tensions and unrest in southern Lebanon.

It’s worth noting that just weeks earlier another Hezbollah member, Muhammad Saleh Maddah, was also arrested on charges of spying for the Zionist regime.
