The Blind Trust and Betrayal of Former Generals; Reliance on the U.S. and Fighting Alongside It

A foreign media activist, Georgina Sunshine, quoted Fareed Ahmadi, a commander of the former republic’s special forces, saying that several generals of the fallen republic now residing in the United States have proposed to the U.S. government, particularly its central command, that they are ready to stand shoulder to shoulder with American forces in the event of a potential war with Iran and fight as per U.S. orders. This activist revealed the names of these generals as Sami Sadat, Khushal Sadat, and Hibatullah Alizai—who currently reside in the U.S.

Much later, Sami Sadat, seemingly to prevent backlash from the front, denied the report. However, Fareed Ahmadi has not withdrawn his statement. Many of the internal generals and other military personnel who had been operating under the direct command of the CIA and the U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon), fighting to protect American interests in Afghanistan, fled the country after the U.S.-created republic collapsed—fleeing aboard American, French, German, and British aircraft.

The U.S. and other Western nations also evacuated the “zero units” and special forces who had fought on their behalf as mercenaries, killing, imprisoning, and committing atrocities against their own people to safeguard foreign interests. Among other reasons, these forces were taken out so they could later be used in other countries and other wars in service of American interests. They had committed grave crimes within Afghanistan, mercilessly killing their own people and carrying out all kinds of abuses. They are widely condemned and rejected by the Afghan people.

What should have happened is that these so-called generals—who were granted their ranks in exchange for fighting their own people and committing atrocities for the benefit of the Americans and other invaders—should have reflected on their past actions, crimes, oppression, servitude, and cowardice, held themselves accountable, and repented for their misdeeds. Sadly, they took no lesson from the past. Instead, they trampled on their conscience, faith, and the history of their forefathers and once again embraced this grand betrayal and shamelessness.

These individuals are now rejected from Afghanistan. They have no loyalty to their homeland, people, religion, faith, or history. All these values they had long sold out and trampled underfoot. Their primary and ultimate goal is and has been to please their masters and fill their own pockets. Many of them even lost their lives in this path, dying disgraceful deaths—yet the survivors have learned no lesson and continue down the same path.

If they now march toward war against Iran or participate in any other of America’s unjust and savage wars, risking their lives to protect American interests, they cannot in any way represent Afghanistan or its people. Their servitude has blinded them to the extent that they first turned on their own people, slaughtering them without mercy. Now, they are ready for any game, accepting any illegitimate task just to please their masters and enrich themselves.
