Afghanistan, throughout its history, has been subjected to colonization and occupation several times, but it has never surrendered and has continuously strived for liberation and freedom, ultimately achieving its independence.
In the meantime, the countries that repeatedly sent their military forces into Afghanistan inevitably did so with the support, backing, and secret agreements of individuals who were connected to foreign countries and somehow part of the government structure, enabling them to pave the way for the invaders’ entry.
These are the same opponents of national unity and traitors to the homeland and nation who have existed throughout history in every country, and Afghanistan is no exception to this rule.
There is no doubt that when the names of occupying countries come up, countries like the United States, Russia, France, and Britain top the list, and their ruthlessness, aggression, and destruction are prominent signs of their occupation in every country. Wherever these countries have invaded the world, their only goal has been plunder, pillage, and corruption.
The maximum theft of countries’ natural resources, creating divisions among the people of the target country, spreading administrative and social corruption, extensive propaganda to whitewash their faces, misrepresenting freedom fighters and patriots, and so on, are among the dark legacies of these regimes in occupied countries.
The United States, which stands at the top of this pyramid, attacks a country each time under a false pretext and leaves behind as much destruction and devastation as possible. For example, we can look at Iraq or our own Afghanistan, which was a clear example of American occupation. The Americans, under secret plans and toxic propaganda and advertisements, invaded this land under the pretext of taking revenge on the perpetrators of the September 11 incident, who supposedly were in Afghanistan, and they presented hundreds of other baseless excuses.
Russia is no less than the U.S. and considers itself an indispensable rival in every aggressive war, and it is no less involved in occupation and destruction than the U.S.
If we look at the present, after years and the defeat of the Soviet Red Army in Afghanistan, this country is now engaged in an unequal or imposed war with its neighbor Ukraine. If we go back to the past, Afghanistan is the graveyard of empires, and the Soviet Union was one of those defeated empires.
Now, some naive individuals trust such countries for the development and transformation of their own country, feeding their poisoned bread to their nation in exchange for stealing the people’s aspirations and hopes for a safe and progressive country, taking their blood and lives.
On the other hand, they are content with the meager aid from foreign countries, oblivious to the fact that they gain several times the cost through theft and plundering the target country’s resources. Or, by instigating conflict between the government and the people and propaganda against the masses who seek freedom for their country, they exacerbate the divisions more than ever before. But when the work reaches the bones or their interests are secured and what they wanted is achieved, they turn their backs on everything and go their own way.
This is a summary of cooperation and trust with foreign countries, especially those mentioned.
But some of the opponents, after the fall of the republic and the confusion in the desert of foreign superficial support, still cling to them and want to once again test their luck in Afghanistan for having indirect rule and power through puppet individuals.
Meanwhile, the United States, for example, saw the path to success in Afghanistan blocked for itself and, during the twenty years of occupation, extracted and transferred from the country’s mines and valuable resources far more than it wanted. But the opponents are blind and deaf and do not see these realities.
