These projects included the installation of water meters, solarization of water production and distribution sources, network expansion, and capacity building for staff in network maintenance, monitoring, and repair across the provinces of Kandahar, Herat, Jalalabad, Badakhshan, Kunduz, Parwan, Khost, and Balkh.

In a review meeting between the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Emirati Water Supply and Sewerage Company, Red Cross officials assured that more cooperation programs are planned for the coming year.
