The End of a Paper Alliance; Why Did the Fronts Separate from the Afghanistan Salvation Assembly?

Since the opponents left the country and were effectively rejected by the nation, losing hope of staying within, they now speak of patriotism outside the country and in the embrace of foreigners. Now that they see the situation outside more favorable for themselves and have found enemies aligned with them, they constantly hold meetings, each forming their own groups and parties in different corners, discussing the prosperity and management of the country.

While these opponents and their like-minded colleagues, when they were in power and could make effective decisions, failed to alleviate the long-standing pains of the people and lead the country towards prosperity. Now, we do not know where all this enthusiasm and sense of service have come from, as they continuously engage in political maneuvers and idealistic theorizing!

Sometimes they gather seemingly and believe that they will soon take control of the situation, so they must quickly bring people together and be ready to manage what they consider to be a chaotic situation in need of reforms. Therefore, they are in pursuit of gathering votes and dividing tasks. But alas, they have not yet learned how to be empathetic and united with each other.

It may be surprising, but the reality is: “The Resistance Front and the Islamic Unity Party announced that they have ended their cooperation with the National Salvation Assembly of Afghanistan due to differences over structure, policies, and management style.”

What prevents these so-called saviors from reaching an agreement is neither a problem with the structure nor with the principles and laws. The issue lies in their mindset and perspective, which, behind the flashy slogans of patriotism, are actually pursuing their own personal and group interests. As long as they do not reach an agreement behind the scenes, they will never be able to agree on a unified agenda in front of the people.

One of the main reasons for these separations is the lack of a clear and structured solution. In the absence of a specific framework, they still argue about the structure, work methods, and management, planting the seeds of discord in something that should be unity.

Considering the biased and self-serving manner in which these groups interact with each other, one can already predict the fruitless future of their activities. No one will benefit from such a gathering.

Another reason for the failure and fruitlessness of the meetings is the presence of old and tested figures whose dark past is as clear as day to the people. These same individuals, with their repetitive and contentless speeches, have come to take control of the situation once again. The absence of new faces is one of the reasons for the failure of these meetings; because when people see these repetitive figures, they already know the outcome before hearing their words and do not place their hopes in them.

These individuals believe that the aware people of Afghanistan are unaware of their covert behaviors and only cling to the fabricated media narratives, whereas this is not the case. After the recent developments and the change of regime, the people’s perception about these individuals has changed 180 degrees.

Now, people live in a safe and peaceful environment, and only the passage of time is needed for Afghanistan to transform into a fortress of hope and aspiration, eventually ranking among the top countries for living and tourism in the not-so-distant future.

In the past, when the opposition failed to rebuild the country despite global financial and humanitarian aid, they have now returned with the same mindset, without having learned how to set aside personal desires and truly work for the homeland.

So, there is no hope for these individuals. They should be left to their own devices to engage in fruitless and unproductive interviews. On the other hand, the nation and the government must work tirelessly to achieve national goals and develop the country.

There is no doubt that the nation will support any government that ensures security and tranquility and adheres to Islamic values, and will not allow a country with such an Islamic history to become a plaything of internal and external enemies.
