    Writer: Shafi Karimi

In the past two decades, under the shadow of the invasion by the United States, NATO, and dozens of other countries, alongside a number of men, some women in Afghanistan have also been exploited in various ways by American institutions, their lobbyists, media, and other propaganda efforts, and by the rain of dollars. They have been encouraged in one way or another to break what they call restrictions and demand rights like those in Western societies. For this purpose, they have made other women their allies, organized workshops for them, gathered them in seminars, campaigned for them in the media and on public stages, and prepared them to carry out their propaganda war and advance their projects.

American and other Western institutions gave these women an immense amount of money, awarding them large projects under various names, even placing them in front of their husbands and families. They were beneficiaries of comprehensive support from American institutions, provided with bodyguards, bulletproof cars, and all kinds of facilities. This investment had reached such a level that it brought them to the seats of parliament, government offices, embassies, deputy positions, and ministries. American institutions wanted these women to take charge on their behalf, but the United States and other Western countries, foundations, and institutions would provide extensive support and all kinds of money and facilities.

Unfortunately, these women, driven by the frenzy of dollars and projects, have completely opposed the values, customs, culture, ethics, religion, and any kind of traditions of their society. They have rolled up their sleeves to promote Western thoughts, customs, values, and culture. Each one of them, taking advantage of American dollars and extensive Western support, established their own NGOs, civil societies, and other foundations, with the entire effort focused on increasing their numbers and expanding their group, aided by American dollars. They were somewhat successful in this regard due to the prevailing conditions and extensive foreign support at the time.

Some built mixed coffee shops for men and women, some established hookah lounges, some created safe(!) rooms, some set up gathering places, and some did other things. The whole effort was to expose Afghan honorable women in these places to values contrary to those of their families, communities, and country, to show them their values as wrong and Western values as right, and to stand with them in this endeavor to grow their group and increase their numbers.

But with the fall of the previous government, all of this was nullified. The same large-scale commission agents, lobbyists, and project implementers from foreign organizations, embassies, and foundations fled the country to the West and other countries. There, they have resumed their old practices of reviving their former glory and spending time under the rain of dollars. They continue to try to undermine their culture and values, find supporters in Afghanistan, and thus secure dollar projects for themselves. In their relentless pursuit, they send letters to various organizations and individuals, visit homes, and beg at doors to secure projects.

But just as they have failed for twenty years to mislead the honorable women of Afghanistan in a strong society equipped with high values, they will fail there as well. Even if they send hundreds or even thousands of letters and requests to every institution, every person, and every organization, they will gain nothing. Millions of honorable, dignified, and esteemed women within Afghanistan will become even more esteemed, but with their continued efforts, struggles, and desperation, they will become even more disrespected, and no earthly reality will change.
