In an interview, Pakistan’s Prime Minister’s advisor Rana Sanaullah stated that the Pakistani army has the right to conduct operations on both sides of the Durand Line to eliminate threats. These remarks have been made to appease the public, as there have been significant attacks in various parts of Pakistan recently, resulting in substantial financial and human losses to the army in some fatal incidents.

Sanaullah, in a spontaneous manner, stated in response to the public’s questions that the Pakistani army has the right to conduct operations on both sides of the Durand Line to eliminate threats.

Prior to Sanaullah, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif had also accused Afghanistan of harboring Pakistan’s enemies, stating that if we wanted, we could conduct military operations in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, Pakistan itself is struggling under the severe and deadly attacks of the TTP.

Sanaullah also stated in his remarks that when it comes to the other side of the imaginary line, it is an international law that if there is a threat or preparation for an attack on your territory from anywhere, then it is your right to take action for your security.

On the 4th of the current month of Jadi, 1403 AH, Pakistani jet fighters carried out a brutal bombing in the Barmal district of Paktika, martyring more than 50 refugees, including children. Pakistan received a crushing response after this aggression. They should still take heed and refrain from wicked actions, as the Afghan faithful and Mujahid people have never accepted foreign invasions and external conspiracies on their land.

Pakistan has neither been a friend to Afghanistan throughout history nor will it ever be. They have always extended a hand of friendship and brotherhood to the Afghans, only to act contrary later. Moreover, they now deceive their own people with one excuse or another.

Currently, Pakistan supports the groups and factions that challenge the ruling regime in Afghanistan; they have backed insurgents, provided safe havens to rebellious groups, and have spent days and nights in their embrace. Some of their members have even launched a propaganda war against the Taliban from there and spread false propaganda.

Pakistan must reconsider its policy towards Afghanistan, as the current policy will turn out to be very harsh, difficult, and dangerous for it, because the oppression of the Afghan people and the invasion of their land is in no way tolerable.
