Some people have multiple faces in their social lives, but they always try to use the one that is pleasing to others. However, eventually, in a specific place, their true face is revealed; a place where their fabricated identity is tarnished and the reality of their character becomes apparent.
The leaders of the Resistance Front always appear as patriotic and people-oriented individuals, speaking of defending the violated rights of the people. They consider themselves the only true defenders of Afghanistan, who, it seems, should be in power, build a system, lead the country towards prosperity, and find solutions for a healthy life for the people.
But this opposing group has forgotten that Afghanistan today needs true patriotic and compassionate individuals, not those who are dependent on foreigners and whose ideological beliefs stem from thoughts that contradict the Islamic and popular beliefs of Afghan society.
However, it is observed that the leaders of this movement occasionally, whether consciously or unconsciously, remove the mask from their true faces and display their reality in the media. While they still harbor the notion that people will take them seriously and follow them despite all their weaknesses and ideological and political dependencies. But the reality is otherwise, and nothing will come out of the pot of their wishes from the cauldron of truth.
The story is that on Monday, the first of Thor, Pope Francis, the leader of the world’s Catholics, passed away. Following his death, heads of state, international organizations, and Western figures sent condolence messages and prepared to attend the funeral ceremony, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday.
Among these condolences, the Resistance Front also issued a statement of condolence and reacted. The text of their message reads: “We extend our condolences to the Catholic community on the passing of Pope Francis. He was a great figure who was able to strengthen the dialogue between religions and promote a culture of compassion and understanding on a global scale. His services to humanity will always be remembered.”
While this group wants to take the helm of a community that is Muslim, Islamist, and adherent to Islamic principles; a community that has repeatedly fought, sacrificed, and given up wealth and life to preserve its religion and Islamic values.
With such a dual face and continuous relations with the West, it is clear that the leaders of the Resistance Front and their like-minded groups are unable to advance their goals without the support of external powers. They are not only dependent but have always been tools for implementing the destructive plans of Islam’s enemies. Expressing condolences for the death of the Catholic Pope shows that the thinking of this group leans more towards Crusader culture and Westernization than the pain of the Islamic Ummah.
In fact, the Resistance Front and similar groups are more like tools for political propaganda and foreign interests; they only use Islamic values as slogans, but in practice, they operate in line with colonial and infidel interests. Their condolence message to the Pope symbolizes that they are neither aware of the pain of Muslims nor feel a connection with the suffering of the Islamic Ummah; rather, they are enamored with foreign culture and Western thoughts.
