New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has criticized the continuation of the conflict between Iran and the United States, saying the war was initiated without authorization from the U.S. Congress.
Referring to the economic consequences of the conflict, he said that fuel and food prices have increased, placing significant financial pressure on American households.
The mayor emphasized that he had opposed the war from the outset and stated that it should be brought to an end as soon as possible.
