The Online Supporters of United Front Have Questioned Sami Sadaat’s Silenc

After the arrival of the caretaker government, some defeated military and political officials of the fallen republic in the country formed various imaginary groups and factions under different names in foreign countries for their personal interests and to receive money from international intelligence agencies, and they announced war against the caretaker government.

One of these groups, named the “United Front,” announced its existence under the leadership of Sami Sadat, the former commander of special forces during the fallen republic, and warned of guerrilla and operational warfare against the caretaker government.

At the opening ceremony of the mentioned front, the leader of the front, Sami Sadat, pointed out that they have once again taken up arms against the Taliban alongside their defeated fighters, stating, “We have launched a political movement under the name of the United Front to express our determination to reform the government in Afghanistan. If possible, let this government be organized peacefully through negotiations. Let the Taliban participate in the elections, but if they do not allow the elections to take place, armed struggle will be the last option and choice against them.”

At the end of the meeting, he asked his virtual fighters in a video clip to continuously exercise and prepare for a new intense battle after Eid; he said, “We are engaged in organizing, strengthen yourselves, exercise so that we can finally liberate our homeland.”

Sadat’s remarks became widely ridiculed on social media and were used in various satirical videos.

The issue is that Sami Sadat’s efforts and endeavors are increasingly being considered weak and unsuccessful lately! Meanwhile, the sports fighters of his defeated front are still waiting for Sadat’s arrangements after four years.

Since the day Senator Mike Waltz was appointed by Donald Trump as the National Security Advisor of the United States, and Sami Sadat expressed his hope in a congratulatory message to him, wishing him to assist in the recapture and war in Afghanistan; it seems that a firm and decisive negative response has been given by Mike Waltz. Consequently, Sadat’s disappointment is steadily growing, and his faction members have come to the conclusion that the advice to strengthen sports and self-discipline is merely a waste of time and an excuse by Sadat.

They believe that the United Front initiated by Sami Sadat has no regional, international, or domestic public support, and they argue that armed struggle against the caretaker government cannot solve any problems, a view that Sami Sadat himself seems to have given up on.

Although Sami Sadat occasionally claims in Eid messages, various topics, and celebrations of Afghans abroad to have a strong imaginary movement against the caretaker government and to eliminate it, his current silence indicates that he has returned to his normal life due to disappointment and psychological instability, and his front is on the brink of dissolution.

Government officials, social media users, and political analysts had already considered the claims and slogans propagated by these factions in the media as baseless and mere propaganda; political analysts also view Sami Sadat’s silence as a chosen silence for the current situation or future change, suggesting that he might have remained silent due to security or political risks.

Recently, Sami Sadat has also retreated from his chaotic stances on Facebook and X, where he previously used to chant slogans about returning to the country, beat drums to make himself prominent on social media, and ring alarm bells. Based on this, it can be said that the suspicion towards the fighters of the United Front is justified.
