After the fall of the republican regime in Afghanistan, those politicians who were notorious for theft, murder, corruption, immorality, and foreign allegiance, and whose hands were stained with the blood of their own nation for the benefit of foreign powers, fled the country before the occupiers; shortly after, they became consumed with the thirst for power and dominance, announced various groups under different names online, and once again presented their price to the world market. Now, nearly five years have passed, and no one is willing to buy them.

Some former officials of the fallen republic have said that the meetings of certain individuals and groups in Pakistan, Israel, and European countries, such as Zarif Ghaffari in Israel and various opposition groups in Europe and Pakistan, are actually with intelligence operatives, and the “women’s rights” are just an excuse for these activities. Here, the discussion should not be emotional but rather precise and analytical. However, the nature of the opponents’ meetings clearly has an intelligence aspect; the location, timing, and the connections of the participants indicate that the matter is not merely civil or social, but there is much more behind the scenes. Women’s rights, unity, and similar names and titles are largely used by them as tools to create legitimacy so that the real objectives remain hidden.

The people’s demands are very clear and simple; Islamic and national values, security, justice, work, and the independence of the country are the demands of these people. The people are not sitting idle, waiting for the power games of a few fugitive former officials, but are experiencing practical changes and are not deceived by empty promises and slogans. Anyone who overlooks the basic needs of the people and only plays the politics of securing their position and interests can not represent the people. This is why the gap between the people and the Afghan government’s opposing factions has widened day by day.

The main agenda of the opposition groups’ meetings is not the people’s demands. These meetings are for the political figures and opposition groups to show their activity, while they also want to regain former power, attract the support of foreign countries, and present themselves as an alternative. They also try to create a global perception that they are the true representatives of the people, even tho they have become detested among the Afghan people and can never represent them.

The goals of the opposing groups are clear; they seek power, influence, and privileges thru the blood of the people. Their desire is the previous life, which they lost with the fall of the republic. That is why, when pressure, aggression, or national issues arise, they either remain silent or take positions that clearly clash with the people’s sentiments. Their meetings are not for solving the people’s problems but rather for the continuation of personal and party politics. However, they try to present these meetings in a new form and under the shadow of new slogans.

The opponents’ meetings, which are linked to intelligence circles, make any claim of representing the people meaningless. Such activities become part of foreign agendas instead of serving national interests. In this regard, opposing factions are not the voice of the people but rather instruments for implementing foreign agendas. They want to make themselves prominent and attract foreign support. For this reason, topics are chosen each time that provoke international sensitivity rather than addressing the real issues of the Afghan people.
