After long discussions and negotiations, some opposition groups based abroad announced the formation of a new virtual coalition in recent days. However, just a few hours after these reports, the coalition disintegrated due to severe disagreements, conflicts, and selfishness, causing even the previous structures to become unstable and headed toward collapse. Former warlords and leaders of the fallen republic, after the collapse of the republic in Afghanistan, this is the fifth time they are forming temporary coalitions under various names, but they quickly disband.
In the recent coalition, former warlords, technocrats, and remnants of the former communist regimes gathered under the name of the High Council of Resistance, the National Assembly, and the Justice Party. They held an online meeting and announced the coordination of this coalition. However, after the announcement, some members quickly regretted their decisions, to the extent that Salahuddin Rabbani, a leader of the Jamiat-e Islami party, officially announced his separation from this coalition and even from the High Council of Resistance. This not only led to the disintegration of the newly formed coalition but also destabilized the previously relative and foreign-influenced structures.
These figures, who are the main perpetrators behind the past wars, killings, selling the country to foreigners, the suffering and misfortunes of the common people, the forced migration of millions, and the killing and maiming of hundreds of thousands of innocent Afghans in Afghanistan, had turned the country into a battlefield for their own interests for decades. However, with the end of American and international occupation in Afghanistan, their reliance on foreign powers has crumbled, and they have been forced to flee. They, who are nostalgic for their past power, strength, arrogance, and livelihood, have been persistently trying for nearly the past four years to turn Afghanistan back into a battlefield and secure their personal interests within it.
But now that the actual realities of Afghanistan have changed from before, the Afghan people and even the international community have turned away from those ugly faces. Opponents are now trying to present a false and distorted image of Afghanistan abroad, engaging in negative propaganda, making inflammatory statements, sowing discord and chaos among the tribes residing in Afghanistan, and conspiring with harmful countries, intelligence agencies, and criminal networks in the region and the world. However, they are failing because they have no foothold in Afghanistan, and the people have no sympathy for them. In fact, the people despise them so much that even their words are met with strong and harsh reactions.
They are tired of this confused and restless state, sometimes reaching for one thing and sometimes for another, but returning empty-handed. They have not found buyers for themselves either within Afghanistan or outside of it. Every wrong plan and conspiracy is exposed and thwarted one after another, alliances are shattered, corruption and misdeeds are brought to light, and public hatred for them increases day by day.
