Hindukush Voice has found in newly obtained information from its sources that the visit of the Mohaqiq to Pakistan nearly two weeks ago was organized at the request of the Pakistani intelligence by his groom, Dr. Hussain Yasa, who has official membership in the Pakistani intelligence agency (ISI) and a long history of espionage for the ISI.
Dr. Hussain Yasa was arrested nearly 13 years ago by the National Security Directorate of the previous Republic on charges of excessive visits to the Pakistani embassy and espionage for the ISI. This happened after he was gotten out of the Intercontinental Hotel in Kabul, where he had a secret meeting with the Pakistani intelligence (the intelligence officer of the Pakistani embassy). At that time, the ISI had extensive influence in the Republic. After nearly 48 hours of detention due to severe pressure, he was released on the pretext that he had diabetes and was released on bail. However, in reality, he was released due to direct intervention by the Pakistani embassy in Kabul.
At that time, Mohaqiq also harshly criticized the government and national security for his detention and accused national security of having no legal justification for detaining Yasa.
Yasa holds Pakistani citizenship (identity card) and a rank equivalent to a colonel in Pakistan’s intelligence agency (ISI). One of his brothers holds a general’s rank in the Pakistani army.
Hindukush Voice can not confirm whether Dr. Yasa accompanied Mohqiq on this trip or not. However, Yasa’s organization of this trip indicates that Mohqiq has completely placed himself under the influence of Pakistani intelligence.
It is worth mentioning that during the previous republic, there were numerous instances of arrests by national security on charges of espionage for Pakistani intelligence, and many of these were revealed over time by former national security officials. The most recent of these was disclosed by the former head of national security, Rahmatullah Nabil, who revealed that a Pakistani spy was released due to the intense pressure from Ashraf Ghani and Hanif Atmar.
It must not be forgotten that Dr. Hussain Yasa is currently a member of the Wahdat party led by Mohaqiq and the official spokesperson for the National Resistance Front, which indicates the extensive influence of foreign intelligence, particularly Pakistani intelligence, among the exiled opponents of the caretaker government in Afghanistan.
