According to a report by Tasnim News Agency, the third round of nuclear talks between Tehran and Washington started in Geneva with a meeting between the foreign ministers of Iran and Oman.
Based on the report, during the meeting the Iranian side presented its position regarding its nuclear program and the removal of sanctions, and conveyed its demands to the opposing side.
Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, praised Oman’s efforts and stated that the success of the negotiations depends on the seriousness of the United States and its willingness to abandon contradictory positions.
Meanwhile, Oman’s Foreign Minister, Badr Albusaidi, commended Tehran’s stance and emphasized that his country is ready to continue its mediation efforts.
