Three people were killed and four others injured in a traffic accident in Balkh Province, according to the press office of the provincial police command.
Officials said the incident took place yesterday on the Mazar-i-Sharif–Hairatan highway, where two Corolla-type vehicles collided.
Initial findings show that the crash resulted from driver negligence and speeding.
The Balkh Traffic Department has warned all drivers to strictly avoid speeding, saying violators will face legal action.
