    Syria’s state news agency reported that the country’s interim president, Ahmad al-Sharaa, held a telephone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump.

    During the call, both sides discussed bilateral cooperation, Syria’s security and stability, and the country’s recent developments.

    They also stressed the importance of diplomatic efforts to resolve regional tensions.
