In a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, U.S. President Donald Trump emphasized that the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel should come to an end.
According to international media reports, Trump added: “Putin thinks the same as I do, that this war must end, because its continuation would pose a serious threat to the security of the region and the world.”
These comments come at a time when the Iran-Israel war has entered a new phase, and international efforts to de-escalate the situation have yet to yield results.
