    Turkey to Invest $200 Million in Cement Factory in Jowzjan

    The Turkish Embassy in Kabul reported that Turkey’s Consul General, Murat Dikmen, met with Jowzjan Governor Abdullah Sarhadi in Mazar-i-Sharif, Balkh Province, to discuss ongoing bilateral cooperation.

    The discussions focused on further strengthening cooperation between Turkey and Afghanistan. The Turkish Consul General announced that Turkey will soon launch a major cement production factory in Jowzjan Province, with an investment of $150 to $200 million.

    Meanwhile, Governor Sarhadi expressed his appreciation to Turkey and urged greater Turkish support and cooperation in developing the healthcare sector.
