    Turkish Investors Express Interest in Afghanistan’s Power Sector

    The Afghanistan Electricity Company (Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat) stated that its Director General, Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, met with officials from Turkey’s Techneligos Company to explore investment opportunities in upcoming electricity projects.

    Dr. Omar noted that Afghanistan currently has favorable conditions for investment in electricity generation from different sources and in infrastructure development. He added that both domestic and international investment in the country is on the rise, and Turkish investors can join other investors in these sectors.

    Meanwhile, officials from Techneligos expressed their interest in investing in Afghanistan’s electricity production, infrastructure projects, and technology sectors.
