The Deputy Ministry for Counter-Narcotics of the Ministry of Interior has announced the arrest of two individuals involved in the sale of 17,500 narcotic tablets. The arrests took place during a series of operations in the 11th district of Kabul city.
According to the Ministry, the suspects will be transferred to judicial authorities following initial investigations.
Since the return of the interim government to power, a rigorous crackdown on drug dealers and traffickers has been implemented and continues to this day.
