A two-year-old girl was safely rescued after falling into a 50-meter-deep well in the Tambil area of Khakrez district, Kandahar province, according to the provincial media office.
The office stated that, following special instructions from the provincial governor, a technical team was urgently deployed to the site to carry out the rescue operation.
Following the rescue, the child was transferred to Mirwais Regional Hospital for further medical care. Her condition is currently reported as stable.
