According to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, citing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Iran responded to the U.S. attacks by targeting and destroying a long-range missile radar, a communications center, satellite communication systems, and an MQ-9 drone maintenance hangar at Ahmad Al Jaber Air Base in Kuwait.

In a separate statement, the IRGC claimed that it had created a “black night” for U.S. radar and air defense systems.

According to the IRGC, it also targeted the Ahmad Al Jaber Air Base’s early warning radar, missile defense radar, FPS-117 radar, Patriot air defense system, and satellite communication systems supporting the air defense network.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it conducted strikes against Iran for the tenth consecutive day on July 20.

According to CENTCOM, the operations targeted Iran’s military command facilities, naval capabilities, missile and drone launch sites, and air defense systems in an effort to reduce Iran’s ability to attack commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

CENTCOM emphasized that its forces remain fully prepared and warned that any attack against civilian commercial shipping would be met with a strong response.
