According to Reuters, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth will make his first official visit to the US-Mexico border.

The visit, scheduled for Monday, highlights the Pentagon’s ongoing focus on securing and strengthening the border during the Trump administration, particularly in efforts to prevent illegal immigration into the U.S.

It is important to note that the U.S. military has been heavily involved in supporting the implementation of immigration policies under the Trump administration.
