    The Washington Post reported that U.S. intelligence assessments suggest any new U.S. military strikes against Iran are unlikely to significantly change Tehran’s position or force it to soften its stance in negotiations.

    According to several current and former U.S. officials, the confrontation between Tehran and Washington is expected to continue for the foreseeable future, with little sign that either side is willing to back down.
