According to a report by the Kyiv Independent, U.S. President Donald Trump recently expressed surprise over Russia’s attacks on Ukrainian cities, particularly as peace talks with Kyiv were underway.
The report states that from May 24 to 26, Russia launched extensive drone and missile strikes on Ukrainian cities for three consecutive days. More than 600 drones and dozens of missiles were reportedly used, marking one of the heaviest assaults since the war began.
It is noteworthy that since returning to office, President Trump has made mixed and complicated remarks about Russia, at times praising its position and at other times offering criticism.
