Afghan government Deputy Spokesperson Mawlawi Hamdullah Fetrat said the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) report on civilian casualties from Pakistani military attacks in 2025 accurately reflects the situation on the ground.

He added that these attacks claimed the lives of women, children, and athletes.

UNAMA reported today that Pakistani attacks near the hypothetical Durand Line in 2025 caused 613 civilian casualties.
