Information obtained by Voice of Hindukush indicates that unknown armed individuals shot and killed General Ikramuddin Sare’, a key leader of the Resistance Front, at around 9 PM tonight in Tehran, the capital of Iran.
Sources state that he was killed on his way home from work.
Although no details have been released yet about the perpetrators or the motive behind the killing, it is speculated that he may have fallen victim to internal disputes within the Resistance Front.
Previously, Voice of Hindukush had reported intense disagreements and mutual threats among members of the Iran-based Resistance Front, and Sare’ had reportedly received warnings before his death.
Sare’ was responsible for coordinating members of the Resistance Front in Iran and was considered one of its key leaders.
During the fallen republic, Ikramuddin Sare’ held the rank of general and had served as Police Commander in Baghlan and Takhar provinces.
