The Intercept reported that United Airlines has resumed transporting military equipment to Israel on civilian passenger flights after a six month suspension.
United Airlines transported five military shipments from Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey to Tel Aviv. The shipments included electronic equipment linked to Israeli weapons manufacturer Elbit Systems.
The report said three additional shipments were also transported to Elbit Systems facilities in the Karmiel area. According to The Intercept, all of the shipments were carried on civilian passenger flights.
