According to sources who spoke to Voice of Hindukush, Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Jamshid Khodjayev, is scheduled to arrive in Kabul today leading a high-level economic delegation of 170 business executives and investors.
During the visit, the delegation is expected to hold talks with senior Afghan government officials and representatives of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI) on expanding bilateral economic cooperation, boosting trade, and promoting investment.
Several agreements covering economic and trade cooperation are also expected to be signed, underscoring both countries’ efforts to deepen their economic partnership.
Separately, the Governor of Uzbekistan’s Fergana Region is scheduled to arrive in Kabul on Sunday, leading a 130-member economic delegation for additional discussions on trade and investment cooperation.
