According to a Wall Street Journal analysis, Iran’s recent ballistic missile attacks on Israel showed that, despite continued military pressure and extensive airstrikes, Tehran still possesses substantial military and defensive capabilities.

The report says Iran is seeking to maintain its influence throughout the region while sending a clear message to its rivals that it remains capable of responding to pressure and threats.

According to the analysis, Iran’s recent actions are part of its broader deterrence strategy. Analysts say Tehran is using its military capabilities and regional influence to affect the decisions of Israel and the United States while continuing to back its allies.

The Wall Street Journal notes that although Iran faces economic challenges and security pressures, it has continued to play a significant role in the Middle East’s political and security landscape.

The report adds that Iran’s leadership has adopted a more assertive approach and is seeking to demonstrate its position openly in response to any perceived threat.

It also notes that direct confrontations between Iran and Israel have become increasingly visible. At the same time, Tehran is working to protect its strategic interests while maintaining influence over regional political developments.

According to analysts, one of the main conclusions from recent events is that Iran remains a major player in the Middle East’s political and security dynamics. They argue that the region’s future developments cannot be fully understood without taking Iran’s role into account.
