Officials at the Torkham Customs Office in Nangarhar announced seizing a number of weapons, ammunition and drugs during a search of a ten wheel truck carrying the belongings of returning refugees.
The truck was found to be carrying 17 firearms, 43 magazines, 167 rounds of ammunition and five kilograms and 250 grams of Tablet K pills, according to the officials.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of transporting the items and will be handed over to judicial authorities for further investigation, officials said.
