The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan, UNAMA) has expressed concern in a statement over civilian casualties resulting from the recent attacks by the Pakistani regime on Afghanistan.

UNAMA stated that from February 26 to March 2, the Pakistani regime carried out attacks in the provinces of Paktia, Paktika, Kunar, Nangarhar, and Khost, resulting in 146 civilian casualties, including women and children. Among them, 41 people were martyred and 104 others were injured.

The organization also pointed to damage to public facilities, particularly healthcare centers, caused by the Pakistani regime’s attacks.

UNAMA added that as a result of the ongoing aggression by the Pakistani regime, more than 1,500 families have been forced to flee their homes.

It is worth noting that after suffering defeat and retreat in direct confrontation with Afghan forces, the Pakistani regime has resorted to targeting civilians.
