The military spokesperson for Yemen’s Houthis, General Yahya Saree, has announced the initiation of the fourth phase of naval blockade, aimed at supporting the Gaza Strip.

In an official statement, Saree said that from now on, any ship engaged in commercial activity with Israeli ports, regardless of its origin or flag; will be treated as a legitimate target for Houthi attacks.

He issued a warning to all international shipping companies, urging them to immediately halt any trade with Israeli ports. Failure to do so, he stated, would expose their ships to potential strikes by Yemeni drones and missiles, regardless of location.

According to Saree, the objective of this new phase is to force the Zionist regime to end its military invasion of Gaza and lift the ongoing blockade imposed on Gaza.
