The Secretariat of the High Commission for Addressing the Problems of Migrants says that over the past day, 229 families, comprising 1,065 people, returned to the country and were registered through Torkham, Spin Boldak, Pul-e-Abresham, and Islam Qala.
According to the commission’s daily report, on the same day, 241 families, comprising 1,286 people, were transported to their areas of origin.
In addition, financial assistance amounting to 2.244 million Afghanis was provided to 252 families, while healthcare and other essential services were also provided to the returnees.
According to the report, 145 SIM cards with active packages were also distributed.
