Reports say that due to a major winter storm in the United States, at least 160,000 people have lost electricity, and more than 4,000 flights have been canceled because of severe weather conditions.

The U.S. National Weather Service has forecast that snow, rain, and severe cold waves will spread across the western and eastern parts of the country during the coming week, potentially disrupting daily life and activities, especially in the eastern states.

The country’s President, Donald Trump, has already declared a state of emergency in several states due to the situation.
