Panjshir Governor’s media Office reported that, following a request from governor Mawlawi Mohammad Agha Hakim, during a meeting with Afghan government leaders and fellow provincial governors, a directive was issued to prepare lists of unemployed Panjshiri youth for employment opportunities in other provinces.

According to sources, in less than two years, 20,000 unemployed youth from Panjshir have been successfully placed in positions in various sectors including military, security forces, and civil authorities.

The Governor’s Office confirmed that lists of unemployed graduates have been compiled and will soon be submitted to the leadership for further action.

Local residents have welcomed the initiative, noting that it will help strengthen coordination and foster greater trust between the government and the community.
