The media office of Herat province states that since the Islamic Emirate came to power, around 35,000 drug addicts have been collected and treated in the province.
The source added that every week, over 100 recovered individuals are discharged from the 4,000-bed rehabilitation center and returned to their families.
It is also noted that the patients receive physical fitness training, psychological counseling, and vocational training in various fields.
