The Secretariat of the High Commission for Addressing Returnees’ Problems announced that a total of 536 returnee families, comprising 2,702 individuals, returned to Afghanistan through various land crossings on Tuesday and were officially registered.
According to the Secretariat, 293 of the families, comprising 1,686 individuals, were transferred to their respective provinces. They also received financial assistance to cover transportation expenses.
In addition, cash assistance was provided to 403 families, while returnees received healthcare, food, and telecommunications services. A total of 487 SIM cards were also distributed among the returnees.
