The Nangarhar Provincial Media Office has announced that, following a directive issued by the Supreme Court, the Directorate of Prisons and Detention Centers in Nangarhar has released 70 prisoners.

Mawlawi Suhail Sa’eed, Director of Prisons and Detention Centers in Nangarhar, encouraged the released prisoners to seize this opportunity by pursuing education and building their futures based on the principles of reform and a healthy life.

Mr. Sa’eed further stated that during their time in prison, the prisoners received religious, modern, and vocational education, and it is expected that they will now use this knowledge to positively shape their futures.
