Reliable sources confirmed to Voice of Hindukush that Mufti Munir Shakir succumbed to his injuries in the hospital after being wounded in a bomb explosion.
Earlier, sources told Voice of Hindukush that he had been transferred to Lady Reading Hospital in critical condition.
No armed group has claimed responsibility for the bombing. However, Mufti Munir Shakir had previously lodged complaints against security agencies, alleging that they were creating problems for him.
