Since the rise to power of the Taliban government, Afghan officials and politicians in exile have resorted to every trick and deception to propagate against this regime, day and night collaborating with their masters and using satellite networks and social media to spread and disseminate false rumors.
Claims that are nothing but forgery and deceit, and their only aim in making these statements is to try to mislead public opinion and deceive the people of Afghanistan; a disgraceful act that is the greatest evidence of the twenty years of the republic at every moment.
The infamous fugitives of the republic have, during this time, made many baseless accusations against the caretaker government, and in this note, we will present a few important examples of them and provide a convincing response to each, Allah willing.
Among the baseless claims of the fugitives of the Republic: the Taliban’s dependce on Pakistan, the weakening of Afghanistan’s economy, depriving women of their rights, creating ethnic and religious divisions, and plundering national resources.
The fleeing officials of the former government, not only now but also during the Republic, referred to the Taliban’s movement as a slave and dependent on Pakistan; so much so that after every successful Taliban attack on the Republic’s government, the politicians of the time pointed their fingers at Pakistan and considered it the main instigator of these attacks!
While Pakistan’s betrayal of the Taliban, in the form of arresting their high-ranking members and handing them over to the United States during the twenty-year occupation of Afghanistan, is not hidden from anyone with common sense.
It is worth mentioning that these notorious fugitives, while calling the Taliban a puppet of the Pakistani government, themselves sought the help of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan to return to power in Afghanistan and even pre-sold their country’s land by recognizing the imaginary Durand Line.
The economic recession in Afghanistan after the Taliban came to power is another baseless accusation by the fugitives against this government; an accusation they themselves are aware of its falsehood and have witnessed the flourishing of Afghanistan’s economy after the dismantling of the republican regime and the eradication of rampant corruption of that time.
However, the World Bank has seriously refuted this baseless accusation in its new report, stating a 2.7% growth in Afghanistan’s economy this year.
Another baseless accusation from the regime’s fugitives is that women have been deprived of their rights since the Taliban’s rule. This claim is made despite the fact that since the interim government’s rise to power, the Ministry of Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice has addressed thousands of cases to ensure women’s rights and has intervened in multiple instances, such as preventing forced marriages, granting inheritance rights, and liberating women from house arrest.
This golden performance, which was not recorded even once during the rule of the Kabul puppet administration, despite claiming to be true supporters of women’s rights, has been achieved.
Inciting ethnic conflicts and linguistic prejudices is another baseless accusation made by fleeing politicians against the caretaker government; a claim that has no evidence to support it. In the three and a half years since the establishment of this government, high-ranking officials, including ministers, governors, and district chiefs, have made countless efforts to resolve the animosities and grievances among the various ethnic groups of Afghanistan.
While the opponents of the caretaker government accuse it of creating ethnic and religious conflicts, they themselves, during the internal wars, fragmented the various ethnic groups of Afghanistan to serve their personal interests and waged bloody wars in the name of ethnicity, language, and religion.
The plundering of Afghanistan’s natural resources by the Taliban government is yet another rumor spread by the fugitives of the Republic regime; a ridiculous claim that no discerning person doubts its falsehood. After the takeover by the caretaker government and the cessation of foreign aid, when the governmental apparatus was facing complete collapse from every angle, the caretaker government was able to utilize Afghanistan’s mines and resources appropriately and timely, benefiting from this divine blessing as needed and ensuring that the entire nation reaps its rewards.
In contrast, during the Republic era, Afghanistan’s mines and resources, which were considered the public treasury and the rightful property of this suffering nation, were either plundered by foreign countries and occupiers or ended up in the pockets of a few individuals.
The aforementioned instances are merely a glimpse of the baseless accusations by the Republic fugitives, who, by spreading and disseminating them, attempt to divert public opinion and create a rift between the government and the nation; a toxic dream that is unattainable, fanciful, and insane!
