The International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS) has issued a fatwa regarding the Zionist Israeli occupation and its brutality, declaring that armed jihad against Israel is a religious obligation (Fard) for every Muslim around the world.
The fatwa also urges Islamic and Arab countries to take immediate military action in Palestine, close all air, land, and sea routes to Israel. According to the fatwa, this action is a religious duty as prescribed by Islam.
Additionally, the fatwa emphasizes that providing financial, military, political, and legal support to the Palestinian resistance, specifically the Hamas movement, is a religious obligation. It calls for the immediate formation of an Islamic military alliance to support the Muslim Ummah.
The fatwa further declares that all forms of relations with the Zionist occupiers are prohibited, including the sale of gas and oil to Israel, which is strictly forbidden. It urges Islamic countries to halt such transactions.
The fatwa also calls on Arab countries to review and cancel their agreements with the Zionist Israeli regime, urging them to sever all ties.
It stresses the obligation to provide financial support and open borders to the people of Gaza, as part of the ongoing jihad and to assist in their cause.
Finally, the fatwa calls on all Islamic institutions and organizations to apply pressure on the United States and President Trump to fulfill their promises regarding peace and to bring an end to the ongoing crisis in Gaza.
