The Ministry of Interior Affairs has reported that personnel from the Parwan Provincial Police Command rescued a child during an operation in the Sayed Khel district. The child had been abducted from Kabul about a week ago.
According to the ministry’s statement, the kidnappers had demanded $300,000 from the victim’s family in exchange for his release.
The source added that four individuals have been arrested in connection with the case and will be handed over to legal and judicial authorities after preliminary investigations.
