For some time, politicians who fled after the collapse of the republic have been talking about holding a meeting, which is actually another failed attempt to continue their series of show meetings and dialogs. The meeting was supposed to be held on August 25th and 26th, but after a month’s delay, it finally took place on September 29th and 30th.

Undoubtedly, this meeting, held in Islamabad, Pakistan under the name “First Regional Dialog Toward Unity and Trust,” is nothing more than an empty shell and will have no impact on the differences and conflicts of these failed parties and movements.

On the other hand, these types of meetings and gatherings, which have been held frequently since the collapse of the republican regime, have brought no benefit or advantage to these infamous figures and have not alleviated any of their suffering.

These meetings have not only failed to restore their lost status, but have also faced humiliating defeats every day due to their shameful past and the lack of trust from their foreign masters, sinking further into the quagmire of oblivion with each passing day. In the early days after the collapse of the republic, their meetings and gatherings were held prominently in European and Asian countries, but today they have sought refuge in Pakistan, a country that has brought nothing but misery and misfortune to Afghanistan and its people.

Although some prominent political figures from the previous government are not present at this meeting, each participant in these meetings has a long history of corruption and incompetence, and their records are filled with treason and betrayal.

The activities of these individuals during the twenty years of the republic and, more recently, in the past four years, have clearly demonstrated that these despised figures, despite all their claims, have never been able to gather around a single table and create unity, even if symbolic, among their infamous parties and factions.

On the other hand, the shameful records of these individuals have never been erased from the public consciousness of the Afghan nation, and this has prevented them from ever being able to hide their true faces, no matter how often they change their masks.

From the very beginning of their rule until the last moments of their ill-fated reign in Afghanistan, and even after being rejected by the suffering people of this land, these individuals had no concern other than securing their personal interests.

Now that these fugitives, after being disappointed by their Western masters, have sought refuge in Pakistan and are holding meetings under the shadow of the country’s ISI, speaking against their nation and country, they have not made any progress and are never going to achieve anything.

As a result, this meeting and dozens of similar gatherings resemble more of a repetitive and contentless show; a show that has no domestic audience and no one outside the borders cares about. Such meetings, rather than benefiting Afghanistan and its suffering people, are merely a means for these figures to re-emerge and demonstrate their loyalty to intelligence agencies.

For this reason, it can be said with complete confidence that the Afghan people, with their full awareness and experience of the bitter past of these figures, will never be deceived by these empty political maneuvers; because history has clearly proven that these failed currents, no matter what guise they appear in, have nothing to offer but betrayal, corruption, and dependence.

It should be mentioned that this meeting, like their other meetings, due to its inefficiency, will never satisfy these individuals or achieve their dark goals. Therefore, it is not unexpected if, after a while, these individuals throw themselves into the arms of another master and launch another superficial gathering.
