The Ministry of Justice says that 1,391 jeribs of land have been verified as Emirate property in the Gharumbay and Mata China areas of Khost province.
According to the ministry, this decision was made by the Special Court for Addressing Seized Emirate Lands after reviewing documents and evidence related to 2,161 jeribs of land in these areas.
The ministry adds that the verified lands are divided into three sections, and the case had been submitted to the court by the Commission for the Prevention of Land Grabbing some time ago.
It is worth noting that since the establishment of the Commission for the Prevention of Land Grabbing and the Recovery of Seized Lands, hundreds of thousands of jeribs of land have been reclaimed across various provinces.
