In the past few days, a highly impressive and still very surprising event occurred in Venezuela. In an unwitting attack by US Delta Force troops on the country’s soil, the Venezuelan president and his wife were arrested within hours and transferred to the United States to be tried for allegedly conspiring to smuggle drugs.

However, aside from the uncertain conditions, the behind-the-scenes conspiracies, and the ambiguous reasons for this attack and the arrest of the leader of that oil-rich country, what is more important and the focus of this article is the exploitation of the opponents who fled this bitter event and their attempt to link it to Afghanistan.

Everyone is witnessing the current situation where Afghanistan, after several consecutive years, has been able to become a free and independent country, enjoying the right to free choice and a progressive development process. But it seems the fugitive opponents are never satisfied with this auspicious freedom and fundamental prosperity, and they seize every opportunity – even if irrelevant – to sow the thorns of conspiracy and deceit in the path of the country’s development.

What happened after the US attack on Venezuela were statements from former diplomats of the republic; that they still portray present-day Afghanistan as a controversial country with an exclusive government and implore the world, and even defeated America, to take another compassionate look (as they see it) at Afghanistan and return to it with forces and armies to cause destruction and take lives.

If we take a brief look back at Afghanistan’s past during the republican regime, what was never seen then was adherence to the principle of inclusivity. The fact that fugitive opponents, during the republic, traded the country’s soil to foreigners for their personal gain as much as they could, and did not spend any of it on the country’s development, is a clear and undeniable matter. However, their current refuge in the media and their demand for inclusion in the current Afghan government is a biased and untrue matter.

What has happened in Afghanistan in just the past few years is as clear as the midday sun for the Afghan nation and even for the world. It is evident that Afghanistan is moving toward prosperity, progress, and development, and there is no doubt that all of this is the result of the government’s inclusivity between the state and the nation, officials and all members of society.

This kind issues that opponents occasionally launch in the media, they won’t get anywhere and can’t attract attention because the world and global powers are aware of these individuals and their conspiracies and are not deceived by their words.

On the contrary, they are seeking interaction and good relations with the current Afghan government because they know that over the past two decades, they have never been able to subdue this nation thru force and domination and take a share of this country for themselves. Therefore, what they couldn’t achieve thru force and coercion today, they might pursue thru positive interaction and the establishment of commercial, economic, and legal relationships.

Therefore, no matter how hard the fleeing opponents try, their efforts will be in vain, and they will return defeated and regretful. It seems they are facing a crisis of subject matter and are only seeking attention by latching onto any irrelevant and inappropriate content.

Beside this, such words and claims are always repeated; but because they are devoid of truth, they neither attract attention nor are they pleasing to the ears.
