Reliable sources told Voice of Hindukush that reports circulating on social media alleging the arrest of former senior Afghan government official Mullah Mutasim Agha Jan are unfounded and lack accuracy.

According to the sources, the claims appear to be part of a deliberate effort by biased media outlets to promote malicious agendas and mislead the public.

It is worth noting that several media outlets supported by the Zionist regime had earlier claimed that Mullah Mutasim Agha Jan had been detained by security forces.
