The spokesperson for the Examination General Authority, Nasir Khan Shirzai, told the media that the first phase of the 1405 solar year university entrance exams (Kankor) began today (Thursday) in 15 provinces across the country.
Mr. Shirzai added that the provinces included in this phase are Maidan Wardak, Parwan, Ghazni, Kunar, Baghlan, Faryab, Badghis, Logar, Kapisa, Paktika, Herat, Sar-e Pol, Uruzgan, Ghor, and five zones of Badakhshan: Faizabad, Baharak, Shaghnan, Darwaz, and Khwahan.
According to him, 50,000 candidates are expected to participate in the first phase of the Kankor examinations.
