Afghan government spokesman Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid has expressed deep sorrow over a traffic accident in Qarghayi district of Laghman province that left 18 people dead and 29 others injured.
In a message of condolence, he prayed for the deceased to be granted Paradise and wished the injured a swift and full recovery. He also extended his heartfelt sympathies to the families affected by the tragedy.
The accident took place when a vehicle carrying returning Afghan citizens overturned in the district.
