Afghanistan’s Ministry of Public Health has announced the commencement of construction on three healthcare centers in Helmand province at a total cost of 72 million Afghanis.
According to the ministry, the centers are being built in the districts of Nad Ali, Gereshk, and Sangin, with the project fully funded by the Ministry of Public Health.
The ministry stated that once completed, the facilities will provide thousands of residents in these districts with improved and more accessible healthcare services.
It is worth noting that these districts in Helmand received little investment in healthcare and education projects during the former fallen republic. However, since the Islamic Emirate came to power, numerous development projects have been implemented in the area, and this process is continuing.
